Aether is a private-local intelligence scaffold with MCP Bridge and controlled cloud reasoning for software engineers.

Local Memory Core

Unlike stateless assistants, Aether stores long-term context in your local runtime. Vector embeddings are indexed in Qdrant and relational traces are mapped in SQLite for persistent recall.

MCP Bridge Control Layer

Requests pass through MCP Bridge with tool routing, permission checks, and context filtering. Only sanitized payloads are forwarded to external models.

Permissioned Data Boundary

Your source code and private context remain local by default. Cloud calls happen only for explicitly scoped tasks under a controlled permission boundary.

Cloud Reasoning Layer

Selected cloud models extend reasoning capacity, then validated outputs are written back to local memory. This keeps global intelligence without losing local control.
